Hassall Park in St Ives had an impressive transformation in 2025, emerging as a vibrant, family-friendly destination with something for every age. The new playground blends beautifully with the natural surroundings, using timber elements, earthy tones and landscaped greenery to create an inviting, nature-inspired space. Little ones will love the colourful climbing caterpillar with its stepping bridge, slide and low-level challenges. At the same time, older kids gravitate toward the rock-climbing wall and open areas to explore. Swings, bouncing toys and plenty of imaginative play elements round out the fun.
Surrounding the playground, the park offers loads of room to roam. A bike and scooter path loops around the oval, perfect for fast laps, while the large grassy field next door is ideal for ball games or energetic play. Adults aren’t forgotten, with outdoor exercise equipment nearby and shaded picnic tables for relaxing. With toilets, parking and open space galore, Hassall Park is a fantastic all-ages spot for a relaxed day outdoors.
